FremantleMedia brings hit international shows to local audiences.

Since its foray into India in 2009, FremantleMedia India has consistently ranked amongst the leaders in television content production with partnerships with leading broadcasters such as Star India, Viacom 18 Network and SET India Pvt Ltd as well as digital giants like Facebook.

The company’s successes across genres include key Fremantle formats such as Indian Idol, India’s Got Talent, Distraction and X Factor India in the non-scripted space and Scars Of Life, Confrontation, Code Red and Private Investigator in the scripted space. In addition, the company has also created exciting local formats, amongst the most celebrated of which, are National Geographic’s Covershot and MTV's Angels of Rock.

FremantleMedia has also seen blockbuster successes in the regional market by way of Bhyabachaka (Distraction) Amra Na Ora (Push the button) and Amar Bor Superstar (He said she said), with all three formats occupying the number one ranking in local television ratings and in the digital space with India’s Digital Superstar and Confessions-Its complicated, which garnered 24 million views on Facebook.

The 2017 slate includes an exciting partnership with Amazon Prime and the first ever television rendition of TED Talks, created in partnership with TED and Star India.
