The renowned career event is the highlight of the international media, service and education company’s award-winning employer branding campaign “Create Your Own Career.”

Immanuel Hermreck, Bertelsmann’s Chief Human Resources Officer, says: “It’s rare to find a career event as international as ‘Talent Meets Bertelsmann’. Last year we received applications from 116 countries, a new record. The event truly reflects the international nature of our business. This year, too, we look forward to meeting a lot of inspiring people and introducing them to the diversity of Bertelsmann.”

Since 2008, Bertelsmann has regularly invited top talents to Berlin, where participants have the opportunity to exchange ideas with the Group’s managers in workshops and discussions. Among other things, the students develop presentations that they then present to a judging panel comprised of top Bertelsmann executives. This year’s workshops will focus on innovations, alliances and cooperation. The best teams can win attractive prizes, including trips over several days to the Group’s international locations. On top of this, all participants will receive support in the form of professional career coaching.

Adds Hermreck: “‘Talent Meets Bertelsmann’ is a unique success story. Since launching this event, we have recruited more than 160 participants as employees. In addition, a worldwide alumni network of more than 700 ‘Talent Meets Bertelsmann’ graduates has been created, with whom we stay in touch through reunions and social media.”

Students of all disciplines are invited to apply for “Talent Meets Bertelsmann.”
